The Maritime Hotel New York

The hotel's vintage nautical charm brought back memories of sailing the seas in my youth. The cozy lobby with its shelves of old books and the unique architectural details, like the 40-foot staircase and Quan Yin statue, created a welcoming and calming atmosphere. The proximity to the Chelsea Market and the subway made it easier for me to navigate the city, especially as a senior woman.

I wish the children working there would offer more assistance with luggage for senior guests.

Stayed multiple times on business and glad to be back with my husband. Comfortable, quiet, classy, cozy, stylish. Wine bottle gift as a returning guest. Pleasantly surprised by continental breakfast. Phenomenal location near Chelsea and the Meatpacking District. No resort fee. Bigger hotel amenities with a boutique feel. Ample storage and lighting options in the room. Clean bathroom with nice toiletries. Plush robes and makeup mirror. Large clear umbrella. Informative room binder with menus and film selection. Cozy lobby with books and fireplace. Excellent staff hospitality with great family service.

It's clean hotel nestled in a funky style building in the great area. If you walk 10 minutes, you'll find 14th Street subway station.

The stay here was terrific, appreciated the hotel, it was clean with stunning location near to restaurants, Chelsea market and the meatpacking district and Chelsea, west village, soho.

I just stayed at a hotel that exceeded all my expectations. The location is perfect, with plenty of great restaurants in the Meatpacking district within walking distance. The room was spacious and had all the amenities I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and had a variety of options. The view from the hotel was breathtaking. I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities and advantages of the room.

The only downside was that the restaurant was closed during my stay.

I loved spending my time in this fairly clean brand-new hotel. The restaurant was excellent on the ground floor, I tried hot dishes. It was spotless, included an exceptionally comfortable bed plus a minibar, an individual safe and ironing facilities.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Maritime Hotel! Our room had a great size, a comfortable bed, and a quiet ambiance. The location was ideal, with plenty of vegan and other dining options nearby, as well as popular attractions like the High Line within walking distance. Having bikes available at the hotel was a fantastic advantage, and the staff, particularly Jorge and Michael, were incredibly friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the convenience of a fitness room and the beautiful outdoor terrace and restaurant.

This boutique hotel is conveniently located near the 14th Street subway station and the 8th Avenue subway line on Broadway. Catch Steak, a well-known restaurant, is within the same building. The rooms are beautifully decorated and feature comfortable beds with convenient bathrooms. The staff is attentive to detail and offers complimentary earplugs on request. there's a DVD library that guests can access for entertainment.

The hotel's reliance on single-use plastics for breakfast is a drawback and not environmentally friendly.

One service that I missed for my work was a dedicated meeting room or conference facilities within the hotel premises. This would have added more convenience to my business stay.
